Job Description
We have an immediate hiring need for our full-time manufacturing Machine Operator 2. This is a 2nd Shift role (M-F, 2:00PM – 10:00PM), in the EA department with a starting rate of $19.35 per hour with a 6% shift premium. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work onsite in Mequon, WI. You will operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of our products. You will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks. Check and inspect operations against predetermined tolerances.
Your Responsibilities:Work with Through‑Hole Placement Technologies and electronically controlled processes, components, and full PCB layouts for final product creation.Operate and work with production machinery, including solder selection, wave solder, and conformal coat processes.Set up and run multiple machines and workstations simultaneously.Be a Through‑Hole Machine Operator by picking parts, setting up jobs per pick list, and running the production line.Perform first‑line inspection of boards to ensure build quality.Collaborate with technicians and team leads to troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate downtime.Safely lift 35–45 pounds.Prepare reels and feeders for through‑hole technology machines.Counts and moves materials to the production line.Burns firmware into electronic components using programming machines.Create and apply PCB labels manually or through automated systems.Perform machine setups and adjustments while maintaining tolerances to print specifications.Conduct visual classification and repair of rejected boards.The Essentials - You Will Have:High School Diploma or GED.Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.The Preferred - You Might Also Have:1 year of previously related experience.Work required overtime, which may be up to 20 hours per week depending on production needs.What We Offer:Health Insurance including Medical, Dental and Vision401kPaid Time offParental and Caregiver LeaveFlexible Work Schedule where you will work with your manager to enjoy a work schedule that can be flexible with your personal life.To learn more about our benefits package, please visit at www.raquickfind.com.At Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
