Looking to launch your career in aerospace manufacturing? PDS Tech Commercial is hiring entry-level Machine Operators to join a dynamic team supporting precision part production for the aviation industry. No certification required—just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn!

 About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you’ll be trained to set up and operate specialized machinery used in the production of aerospace components. You’ll work under the guidance of experienced technicians to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in every part you help create.

Job Type: Full-time, Consultant (12-month contract)

Location: Carroll, IA 51401

Schedule Options:

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Pay: $19.50/hr (includes $1.50 shift differential)

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Pay: $20.00/hr (includes $2.00 shift differential)

 What You’ll Do

Learn to set up and operate machines according to standard procedures

Make basic machine adjustments under supervision

Read and interpret blueprints and specifications

Perform quality checks using precision gauges and instruments

Document production activities and labor transactions

Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

Work extended shifts or holidays as needed by the business

 What We’re Looking For

Required:

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
 

Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment

Basic computer navigation skills

Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing setting

Preferred:

Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation

Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical processes

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
