Machine Op -2nd shift

Summary: Seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to operate and adjust multiple machines, perform quality inspections, and adhere to food safety standards.

Requirements:

Excellent hand-eye coordination Strong mechanical skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Basic machine operator skills Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Basic math skills

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with all department machines and secondary operations

Responsibilities:

Operate machines safely with functional guarding and safety features Set up, adjust, and operate several machines with guidance from experienced operators Perform quality inspections and complete documentation as prescribed in the Job Book Provide basic training to other operators as needed Follow Job Order Book and routing instructions accurately Monitor scrap levels and notify supervisor of excesses Complete paperwork accurately including inventory labeling of leftover materials Maintain cleanliness in production area throughout the shift Report food safety concerns following GMP policy under SQF requirements

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
