Job Title: Machine Helper

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Helper to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in setting up printing presses according to product specifications and ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping processes.

Responsibilities

Transfer information from job jackets to set up printing press according to product specifications, following any special instructions.Organize jobs effectively, considering press setup and shipping deadlines.Track production time, waste, and any issues affecting job speed or quality.Complete pre-run checklists and produce samples that meet color, alignment, and print quality standards.Pack tags and labels into properly labeled boxes as they come off the press while monitoring press operations for accuracy and quality.Operate variable-speed machinery with rotating and cutting components, always working safely and responsibly.Maintain a clean work area and perform other job-related duties as needed.

Work Environment

Personal protective equipment is minimal, with most areas only requiring ear protection, while Maintenance and Shipping & Receiving require steel toe shoes. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
