We are looking for an experienced **Machine Builder / Toolroom Specialist** to support the assembly, testing, and installation of custom-built industrial equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision, and thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
+ Build and assemble custom machinery using detailed prints, layouts, and technical documentation
+ Fit, align, and adjust mechanical components to ensure accuracy and performance
+ Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and final inspections of equipment
+ Support machine installations and start-ups at customer sites as needed
+ Partner with engineers, machinists, and electrical builders to improve designs and processes
+ Machine, modify, or repair components using toolroom equipment such as mills, grinders, and manual machines
**What We’re Looking For**
+ Experience in **machine building, toolmaking, machining, or industrial assembly**
+ **Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics**
+ **Hands-on experience using precision measuring tools and shop equipment**
+ **Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team environment**
+ **Mechanical problem-solving skills and attention to detail**
**Work Schedule & Environment**
+ **Day Shift:** Monday – Friday
+ Consistent schedule with weekends off
+ Clean, organized shop environment
+ Mix of in-house assembly and occasional customer-facing work
**Travel Expectations**
+ Minimal routine travel
+ Opportunity to travel for machine installations or customer support (up to 50% if desired)

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
