Job Title: Machine Assembly Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Machine Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling shrink sleeve machinery, installing new equipment, and ensuring all machines meet specific quality control standards before they are dispatched to clients. This role offers the opportunity to grow within the company, starting with a shop-based position that may eventually transition to fieldwork, providing a pathway for career advancement.
Responsibilities
Assemble machine wrap machines using various hand tools.Install and assemble conveyors.Utilize various hand tools and battery-operated hand drills.Assemble steam wrap machines.Wire emergency stops and perform 3 phase 480v wiring.Install motors and hydraulic lines.Work from electrical schematics for Machine/PLC wiring with training provided by the engineering team.Essential Skills
Experience in packaging, machine installation, and PLC troubleshooting.Proficiency in programming and installation.Strong mechanical and assembly skills.Experience as a mechanic.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a service technician or installation department is preferred.Experience in mechanical or maintenance technician roles is beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is located in a newly opened plant in Jeffersonville, IN, with three main divisions: Pressure Sensitive/Shrink Sleeve Labels, Pouch, and Machine Design and Installation. The primary focus will be on the Machine Design and Installation division. The role operates on a Monday to Friday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jeffersonville, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
