BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. JOB SUMMARY

Die Techs are responsible for the following skills:  Inspection, Injection, Set-up on 35 Ton, 50 Ton, ET-50 and SI-250, Troubleshooting. Trainees must successfully complete written and practical assessment of skills/knowledge at end of skills training.

This position is for internal applicants only.  Candidate must be able to work any shift. (2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Basic Computer Skills Must be able to read and interpret Product Criteria (PC) and Activity Instructions (AI). Must be able to function as a member of a team and be able to work under general supervision. Must be able to maintain expected quality levels. Comply with all site required policies and procedures, including but not limited to:                                                                EHS, Quality, Code of Conduct and the Wichita Falls Employee Handbook.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITES Retrieve ordered wax from dock. Check/load wax boxes at injection machines. Operate Big Joe, Green Valley, and Die Stacker. Change wax dies (35-Ton, 50-Ton, ET-50, Si-250) Remove temporary parameter change logs when changing wax die. Enter injection parameters into injection machine. Validate first injected wax pattern. Adjust parameters to eliminate pattern defects. Perform die insert changes. Run wax test shots for Engineers. Maintains necessary supplies for the area to maximize productivity. Must pay close attention to detail. Sets up equipment as required to perform specific activities. Follow 5S rules and procedures. Utilize help chain when needed. (Human Performance, BOLO). Works overtime as needed. Performs other duties as required.
