Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. The role involves rooming patients, assisting healthcare providers, preparing and maintaining examination and treatment rooms, cleaning equipment, and potentially answering phones. You will be responsible for rooming up to 25 patients per day.
Responsibilities
+ Room patients and manage patient flow.
+ Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
+ Prepare and maintain cleanliness of examination and treatment rooms.
+ Clean medical equipment according to protocols.
+ Answer phones and manage patient inquiries.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in rooming and charting.
+ Proficiency in medical assisting.
+ Current Medical Assistant Diploma or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credentials.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
+ Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Completion of state-approved LPN program, if applicable.
+ Up-to-date licensure with the Board of Nursing.
Work Environment
The position is based in ENT clinics located in St. Louis Park and Burnsville, and the candidate must be able to commute between both locations. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM in Saint Louis Park and 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM in Burnsville. Typically, training will span 2-3 days.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
