STS Technical Services is actively hiring M88 Field Service Technicians to join our client’s team at Fort Cavazos, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to support the M88A2 HERCULES Recovery Vehicle platform while traveling both across the U.S. (CONUS) and overseas (OCONUS).

Position Overview

As an M88 Field Service Technician, you will provide hands-on field service support for tracked recovery platforms. This role is ideal for professionals with strong U.S. Army or Marine Corps maintenance backgrounds, particularly those with significant M88A2 experience. Following onboarding at Fort Cavazos, deployment to Poland is expected.

Key Responsibilities Provide direct field service support for the M88A2 HERCULES Recovery Vehicle. Utilize technical data for operations, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair. Work closely with internal teams and external customers to ensure mission success. Collaborate with team members to support operational objectives. Use computer-based systems for data entry, report creation, and information sharing. Analyze complex issues and recommend effective solutions. Organize and prioritize both immediate and long-term tasks. Maintain compliance with ethical, safety, and professional standards. Required Qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience performing maintenance on tracked combat vehicles (Army or Marine Corps). Hands-on expertise with the M88A2 HERCULES Recovery Vehicle. Proficiency in computer-based programs used for reporting, training, and data collection. High school diploma or equivalent required. Honorable discharge if prior military service. Strong integrity, work ethic, and dedication to mission success. Preferred Qualifications Prior U.S. Army or Marine Corps service. Recovery School graduate (preferred, but not required).
