Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support solutions using SharePoint Online, SPFx, Power Apps, and Power Automate.Build and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Azure Logic Apps, and Python.Develop dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI to support insights and decision-making.Implement and manage M365 governance processes, including site provisioning, permissions, compliance, and lifecycle management.Create and integrate solutions using Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph Data Connect (MGDC), and backend services; develop scalable pipelines for usage analytics, audit logs, compliance insights, and productivity reporting.Use GitHub (Actions, repositories, CI/CD) for version control, automation, and workflow orchestration.Diagnose and resolve complex issues across SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and other M365 services.Collaborate with collaborators to gather requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.Ensure procedures for security, performance, maintainability, and code quality across all deliverables.Mentor junior developers and contribute to coding standards, documentation, and technical excellence.Preferred Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Demonstrable experience developing solutions across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint Online, Power Platform, automation).Strong hands-on experience with SPFx, PowerShell, Azure Logic Apps, GitHub (CI/CD), and Microsoft Graph / REST APIs.Experience working with large tenant datasets, including usage analytics, audit logs, and organizational reporting.Familiarity with Power BI and Python for data processing, analytics, and automation.Knowledge of M365 governance, security, and compliance procedures.Exposure to software-based solutions, including:Optimizing SharePoint Search with metadata, taxonomies, and AI-based relevanceBuilding AI agents or automation assistants using Microsoft AI/Copilot/Azure OpenAIAbility to design scalable, enterprise-ready solutions integrating data, automation, and insights.Good communication and collaboration skills with a curious, forward-thinking approach and willingness to learn new technologies.At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 60,000 extraordinary minds have a unique story to tell.
