The M&E Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems within a facility to ensure uninterrupted, safe, and efficient building operations.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Systems

Operate and maintain HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, MAH/RAH,GAH)Maintain pumps, compressors, cooling towers, and plumbing systemsPerform preventive maintenance as per schedulesAttend mechanical breakdowns and restore systems quickly

Electrical Systems

Maintain LT panels, MCC panels, UPS, and DG setsMonitor power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systemsCarry out electrical fault finding and corrective maintenanceEnsure earthing, panel safety, and load balance

General M&E Duties

Conduct routine inspections and record parametersEnsure fire & life safety systems are functionalSupport statutory compliance and auditsCoordinate with vendors and OEMsUpdate CMMS / logbooks and maintenance reportsFollow EHS and safety standards strictly

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of M&E building servicesTroubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skillsKnowledge of BMS, energy management, and safety systemsAbility to work in shifts and handle emergency callsGood communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC2–5 years of experience in M&E or Facilities ManagementRelevant safety certifications preferred
