We are currently seeking a M&A - SAP Functional Consultant - Pharma (ECC | Testing, UAT, Security & Data Support) to join our team in Ridgefield, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

5 to 8 years of relevant SAP Functional experience in regulated environments

Project Overview

Merger & Acquisition program supporting the Ridgefield, NJ site transition to SAP ECC rollout to the PSG instance. The role focuses on end-to-end functional support including testing, UAT, security, data validation, training, and post–go-live hypercare in a regulated pharmaceutical (GMP) environment.

Role Scope & Responsibilities Integration Testing

Prepare and validate end-to-end business process scenarios for integration testing

Develop detailed test scenarios and detailed test scripts

Execute integration test cases and provide defect resolution support

Support test data creation and validation for scenario execution

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Prepare and validate UAT business process scenarios

Develop detailed UAT test scripts in collaboration with Business SMEs

Support SMEs during UAT execution and issue resolution

Assist with UAT data creation and validation

Provide training and guidance to SMEs and business users on test execution

Security & Access Management

Gather and validate business access requirements

Review, test, and validate SAP security roles aligned to business functions

Test user IDs to ensure appropriate access and compliance with business needs

Data Support

Review data prepared for migration and data loads

Support data cleansing activities and mapping rule validation

Validate loaded data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance

Training & Go-Live Readiness

Support user readiness activities

Assist in preparation and review of SAP training documentation

Support SMEs in updating GMP-compliant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Support business process flows and training execution

Post Go-Live / Hypercare Support

Support cutover planning and execution activities

Act as first-line functional support for business users post go-live

Assist with system stabilization and issue resolution during hypercare

Key Skills & Qualifications SAP & Functional Expertise

10+ years of hands-on SAP Functional experience

5+ years of strong experience with SAP ECC

Functional expertise across MM, QM, PP, WM, and Serialization

Experience across full SAP project lifecycle:

Unit Testing

Integration Testing

User Acceptance Testing

Post Go-Live Support

Domain & Compliance Experience

5–8 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry

1 to 3 years of strong working knowledge of GMP-regulated environments

1 to 3 years of experience supporting aseptic manufacturing processes

Proven experience preparing and maintaining GMP-compliant SOPs

Training & Support Skills

Experience preparing SAP training materials

Experience conducting onsite SAP training for large groups of production and warehouse operators across multiple shifts

Proven ability to act as first-line functional support for business issue resolution

Tools & Applications

Experience working with ServiceNow for incident and request management

Preferred Attributes

Strong collaboration skills with business SMEs and cross-functional IT teams

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ability to work onsite in a regulated manufacturing environment

Experience supporting M&A-driven SAP implementations or rollouts

 

Min/Required Qualification:
10+ years of SAP Functiional experience
5+ years of experience in MM, QM, PP, WM, and Serialization
5+ years of Pharma experience
2+ years of expereicne in GMP-regulated environments and aseptic manufacturing processes
