Responsibilities

Job Summary 

The incumbent is a technical caregiver who provides care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the environment/instrumentations, and other health care team members, under the oversight of a Medical Director/Physician. The incumbent may perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties/activities.


Qualifications

Experience, Education LIcensure & Special Skills

One year recent outpatient experience in a medical environment requiredLVN license requiredBLS-CPR; LPN:CA with intravenous therapy and blood withdrawal certified.Verbal and written communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required

Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta is a member of the Dignity Health system of health care providers and is a not-for-profit medical facility. We are designated as a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital and are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health care Organizations.
