At Lufkin Gears, Baker Hughes team, the Configuration Leader / BOM Negotiator will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sourcing to ensure BOM’s (templates and projects) are complete and accurate. They will also manage item master parameters and help define Make-Buy for items.

As a Lufkin Site Finance Manager, you will be responsible for driving optimal performance ( cost, fulfillment, quality, cash) and profitability through the Supply Chain and Project execution, developing operational plan for own department, and contributing to plan of the larger unit.

As a Lufkin Site Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Lufkin site strategy and execution of manufacturing finance activities, coordinating planning, pacing, and closing activities. Own P&L and balance sheet activities, including cost accounting, inventory controls (PI, Revals, standards, variances, etc.), product fulfillment and COGS booking, functional costs, VCP/BCP, P&E, etc.Preparing and consolidating monthly plant financial analysis, performance reports, KPIs, with deep understanding of variances to plan for pitch outs to upper managementTracking various Projects for Direct Material Productivity, Cost of Quality and absorption optimization at a granular level, recommend actions to get to planned performance. Ensure operational team are engaged and driving projects to closureDriving and supporting business wide activities around base cost management and cash flow managementEffective communication with other functional areas required. Influencing peers to meet the objectivesHandling work requiring analysis and interpretation. Procedures don't cover all the exceptions. Approaches for exceptions have to be developedOverseeing the preparation of the monthly management accounts for the facility within the timelines set out and provide financial commentary on the sameDeveloping regular redesign of processes due to changing circumstances or management needs. Elaboration of process improvement are expected taking into consideration broader functional context.Providing leadership to financial analyst on site

To be successful in this role you will require:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Finance).Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Finance Operations
