This role will play an integral role in the growth and success of the Engineered Solutions (and broader Life Science Solutions) organization. Our Engineered Solutions business builds and services complex refrigeration solutions for Life Sciences customers. The right candidate will bring leadership, passion, quality obsession, and creativity to manage our growing contracting business that requires close leadership collaboration with internal and external customers. An outstanding communicator, this person will be able to successfully manage a team through an execution vision culminating in positive customer and business outcomes, such as CSAT, on-time projects, and projects exceeding quality and financial targets. This is a highly impactful role as part of an exciting growth-driven organization in very strategy markets. **Where is the work:** Prioritize engaging with customers. When not directly interacting with customers; collaborate with colleagues in your office. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Overall contracting operations responsibility for the following functions: order validation/follow up, customer inquiry, engineering collaboration/submittal submission, controls/automation system, startup/ commissioning, project management, technical support, warranties, claims, and resource allocations. + Responsible for achieving mission objectives regarding profit and resource goals. + Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and staff as needed. + Ensures that quality standards are maintained, after an order is closed, for contracting process and functions required for execution and customer satisfaction. Maintains quality standards by supervising and inspecting job sites. + Monitor, measure, and modify process and process measurements to meet customer needs and business objectives effectively and efficiently. + Responsible for communications flow relative to the operations process. Interacts with Sales to ensure smooth hand off of projects from the sales process. + Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of contracting operations team. Carries out management/leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. + Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. + Develops team leaders/coaches to establish required skill sets, talents, and capabilities. + Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required. **Qualification & Competencies:** + Self-starter with collaborative spirit. + Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes and turnkey projects preferred. + Analytical skills: ability to anticipates issues and drive countermeasures to meet objectives. + Organization: ability to manage multiple priorities; schedules and leads timely status review meetings + Outstanding communication; engage and influence individuals at all levels, internally and externally. + Strong attention to detail, resilient & adaptable + Energetic, forward thinking, and creative with high ethical standards + Bachelor’s Degree, related HVAC/refrigeration and leadership experience required. + Business case development experience and general financial acumen highly preferred. + May coach subordinate supervisors in the contracting process. + Travel as needed (10-30%, based on business needs) **Compensation:** **  **   **Base Pay Range: $154,100 and up based on experience** This role is eligible for an annual bonus plan Disclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
