Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much respected facility in Lee, MA who is currently seeking Nurses (LPNs) to assist them at their facility on a full time basis. Details of the position include: Location: Lee, MA Duration: 13 weeks to start with likelihood of extension Facility Type: Clinic Openings: Day Shift, 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri Pay - $43/hr local POSITION DESCRIPTION: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Evaluates a patient’s health status, estimates the level of health risk and informs/provides feedback to patients to motivate behavior change to reduce health risks + Identifies and prioritizes actions based on patient care requirements + Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and clinic/site policies + Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patient environment + Initiates patient and family education when appropriate + Documents patient’s responses to nursing care and other interventions as well as follow up recommendations + Monitors the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment + Must have working knowledge of universal precautions + Knowledge of protocols for reporting adverse reactions, incidents, and injuries + Knowledge of Workers Compensation assessments and reporting if applicable + Knowledge of Immunization and Vaccine schedules and safety + Administers vaccines or any necessary medications per site/facility protocols + Appropriately stores, transports, and handles vaccines QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: + Current Nurse License for the state in which the nurse will practice + One year experience as a nurse in a clinic or immunization setting required • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice + Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site + Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements + Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
