Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state plus two years of experience as a licensed practical nurse. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Provide direct nursing care and standard nursing services to clients receiving substance use treatment in a 24-hour residential facility; + Perform continuous observation of clients; + Administer prescribed medications; + Maintain documentation in the electronic health record (EHR); + Administer screenings, tests, and other required labs; + Conduct assessments and screens for newly admitted clients. + Driving and alternating shift work may be required and the chosen applicant will be required to possess (or obtain) a Chauffeur's/Class D driver's license if hired. Position-Specific Details : Appointment Type: This position is for a part-time WAE (When Actually Employed) position only and is not to exceed 1,245 hours in a 12-month period.
