Starting rate of pay is $25.38

The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. This work stems from Mass General Brigham’s unified system strategy to bring health care closer to patients while lowering total health care costs. The Medical Group provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral and mental health, and urgent care, both digitally as well as at physical locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The group also offers outpatient surgery and endoscopy, imaging, cardiac testing, and infusion. We share the commitment to delivering a coordinated and comprehensive experience across all locations, ensuring the appropriate level of care is available to every patient across our care delivery sites.

We are thrilled to announce that our Endocrinology specialty has grown in the past year! We have multiple new providers who have joined our team to expand our service line and reach more patients across Cooley Dickinson Medical Group. Our specialty office provides services for patients with a wide variety of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including:

- Addison Disease
- Adrenal diseases
- Diabetes
- Endocrine disorders
- Lipid disorders
- Low testosterone
- Osteoporosis
- Thyroid diseases including thyroid cancer

Job Summary

Bonus - We're offering a generous sign-on bonus of $5,000.00 to welcome you to our team. Recognizing and valuing exceptional talent, we're eager to discuss the exciting details of this bonus during our interview process.

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour LPN to support the practice onsite, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm.

This LPN will be supporting traditional clinical duties such as phone triage, office visits, patient education, injections, in basket management, and assisting our team of medical assistants with clinical duties as needed.

This is an opportunity to work autonomously as an LPN, while also collaborating closely with our Registered Nurse for care coordination, patient education, and clinical decision-making support as needed.


 

Qualifications

Education Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Licensed Practical Nurse required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Licensed Practical Nurse [LPN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Experience Medical experience 0-1 year preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Basic knowledge of patient education: interviewing and listening skills, teaching and engagement techniques, understanding of health-related conditions and information. - Ability to accurately perform vital signs and obtain pertinent health information including but not limited to; temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, height, and weight. - Ability to administer medication; routes of administration may include injections, intravenous and oral medications. - Knowledge and ability to perform specific procedures and tests as appropriate to the clinical setting. - Ability to communicate in a professional, courteous, clear and concise manner.
