Job Title: Low Voltage Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing sensors, open and close features, automatic door operators, electric strikes, mag locks, and card readers. You must be able to read and follow step-by-step installation instructions accurately.

ResponsibilitiesInstall sensors, automatic door operators, electric strikes, mag locks, and card readers.Read and follow detailed installation instructions.Work with controls and ensure high attention to detail.Navigate iPads for installation purposes.Problem-solve installation and operational issues as they arise.Essential Skills2 years of experience as an electrician in low voltage, wiring doors, and controls.Proficient in safely operating hand tools and power tools.Experience with controls and low voltage systems.Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust have a personal car for site travel.Basic tool set required.Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, including a hard hat, 6\" steel-toed boots, high-visibility clothing, gloves, clear glasses, and a lanyard for their hard hat.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work is conducted Monday through Friday with potential for overtime. The role requires flexibility as you will be moving between different sites. Dress code includes wearing the appropriate PPE at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
