Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, career-minded Installation Technician to join our team in a trusted leader in access control and commercial security solutions. Responsibilities

Install, service, and maintain commercial security systems including access control, gate systems, cameras, keypads, and burglar alarm systems.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system and equipment issues in the field.Communicate professionally with customers regarding work performed.Collaborate with technicians, project managers, and office support staff.Maintain accurate job documentation and service records.Travel regularly to customer locations, including occasional overnight travel (2–3 nights per month).Maintain a company vehicle by reporting required service and maintenance needs.Complete expense reports and document company credit card charges with receipts and explanations.

Essential Skills

Experience in security, low-voltage install or service.Strong communication and customer service skills.Willingness to learn new systems and technologies.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.Ability to prepare/program access control, burglar alarms, CCTV equipment, networking equipment, and other hardware as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to install, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with security systems, including gates, keypads, cameras, and alarms.Experience collaborating with clients and field technicians remotely.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, within a 60-mile radius of the shop. It requires regular travel to job sites and occasional overnight stays. We provide a company vehicle and all necessary tools for the job.

This is a Contract position based out of East Earl, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
