Job Summary:
This welcoming family is seeking an energetic and highly capable live-in nanny housekeeper to help manage their beautiful home on the Kent/Sussex border. Set within 50 acres of formal gardens, woodland, pasture, and a thriving kitchen garden, the property is a Grade-II listed, six-bedroom Georgian manor that serves as the full-time residence of the principals and their three children—aged 13 and 10-year-old twins. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean, well-organized, and smooth-running household, taking sole charge of the children when the parents are working. General housekeeping responsibilities are central to the role, alongside school holiday supervision, transporting the children to activities and occasional babysitting and overnight stays by prior arrangement.

General Duties:
General housekeeping tasks (cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, etc.) Dropping off and collecting the children from school and or train station and after school activities Ensuring children are prepared for school day including uniform, sports kit and equipment, homework bags, musical instruments and any other required items Encouraging homework Preparing and supervising meals (breakfast and children’s dinner, lunch in school holidays) Running errands and food shopping Taking deliveries and overseeing contractors and tradespeople Provisioning and organisation of household pantry items and supplies Occasionally the house is used as a film location and you will act as a point of contact for the production team
Candidate Requirements:
Proficient in English Proactive, approachable, and engaging Strong cookery skills would be desirable, for example: meal planning, preparation and cooking of fresh, healthy family meals. There is access to a large kitchen/vegetable garden for seasonal produce Prior experience in a fast-paced role with a big family Driving: Clean driving licence essentialEnhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
