Position Location: Hybrid, Raleigh, NC
Cross-Dock Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations of North American cross-dock facilities, ensuring efficient receipt, sorting, and dispatch of goods.Implement and standardize processes to minimize handling time, reduce errors, and maximize throughput.Reverse Logistics Coordination:
Manage the reverse flow of defective parts from points of usage (e.g., customer locations, service centers) to cross-dock center, x-dock center operations, transportation from x-dock center to repair vendor)Transportation Management:
Coordinate domestic (US) and international shipments from cross-dock facilities to vendors in China.Optimize transportation modes, routes, and carriers to balance cost, speed, and reliability.Performance Monitoring & Analytics:
Lead a team in creating and maintaining dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, cost per unit, and defect rates.Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.3PL Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets.Conduct regular business reviews with 3PL partners to drive continuous improvement.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.5 plus years of experience in international transportation management, with a strong preference for domestic US transportation expertise.Preferred Qualifications:Proven experience in reverse logistics management, particularly in handling service logistics parts.Demonstrated ability to creating performance dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Excel,Tableau, or similar platforms.Strong experience in managing and optimizing 3PL relationships.The base salary budgeted range for this position is $70k - 100K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
