This is an ideal entry level role for a motivated individual looking to learn more about the life sciences and biotechnology industry._ **Primary Responsibilities** + _Receive inbound shipments from suppliers and put away products, equipment, and shipping materials_ + _Fulfill customer orders, including picking, packing, and shipping of Olink Proteomics kits and instruments_ + _Coordinate day-to-day parcel and freight shipping activities with FedEx and other third-party logistics providers_ + _Perform inventory management for lab and distribution operations_ + _Work with lab coordinators to ensure lab operations have sufficient reagent supply_ + _Track lab and distribution stock and conduct periodic inventory checks_ + _Ensure internal and customer orders are correctly processed from start to finish_ + _Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of logistics space and storage areas_ + _Communicate with customer care specialists to help provide customers with up-to-date information regarding their orders and lead times_ + _Independently solve logistical or general problems that may arise and apply a customer-first approach to all aspects of work_ **Qualifications/Skills** + _Excellent communication, time management, planning, and organizational skills_ + _Ability to problem solve and work well under time pressure_ + _Great teammate and fast learner_ + _Ability to be flexible in day-to-day work tasks_ + _Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field preferred but not required_ + _Employee will be required to stand and move around for long periods of time as well as frequently lift boxes and other materials in order to accomplish logistics functions_ Thermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
