The Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for a mix of activities to support the current EMEA Logistics team. These activities are quite broad and are mainly to support our buying and planning team, export / outbound shipments and various administrative processes relating to warehousing and in- and outbound shipments including communication to our internal teams such as customer services and external such as our warehouse and Channel Partners.
This full-time position reports to the Senior Logistics manager EMEA and is part of the EMEA Logistics team located in Nieuwerkerk a/d Ijssel office (Netherlands) and will be an on-site with options to work from home as well.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Purchase and plan materials from EMEA based suppliers meeting inventory targets whilst not impacting revenue commitment using Min/Max and ASCP planning in Oracle and interacting with our Global planning- and sourcing teams.Handle and book console shipments between our global DC’sHandle and book Channel Partner shipment to export territories Resolve material inbound issues to ensure speedy time to stock and maintain accuracy between Oracle and WMS system by interacting with many departments and external suppliers such as our outsourced warehouse and other Sciex DC’sSupport the team with various administrative processes, act as back up for the team and step in during periods of high workload.The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor degree or higher in the area of Logistics or Supply Chain management or related field or equivalent experienceProfound understanding of a buyer roleMinimum of 2 years experience of Supply Chain Thorough understanding of Distribution Centers (DC) as well as order fulfilment process flowsExperience with ERP systems , Strong excel and analytical skillsIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
