Logistics Support for Asset Recovery - Apprentice
Job Description SummaryThe Apprentice in this role will be responsible for executing/coordinating the transportation of used medical Equipment from our customers/local warehouse to our central warehouse at Hungarian Europe Operations Centre in Páty, Hungary in the framework of the GoldSeal and Harvest projects.
Includes activities such as handling transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping. Accountable for the quality of own work. Follow step-by-step sequence of standard work. It is also within the responsibility to implement initiatives to improve logistics operations in partnership with its suppliers, internal customers, and logistics provider.
The Apprentice role is a 2-year-long fixed term contract, with the possibility of further extension.

Job Description

Key responsibilities/Essential functions:

Facilitate order management

Use the Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) system to ensure returns of systems

 Create order flows with suppliers

Manage supplier relationships functionally / delivery, including approval and confirmation process

Manage the relationship with our internal customers

Manage customs documents for inbound outside of EU

Work in close collaboration with the QA at inbound site

Manage assigned special projects such logistics flow optimization

Ensure the management and follow-up of delivery disputes with suppliers / warehouse / carriers for all flows from local warehouses.

Collaborates with other stakeholders to resolve issues

Qualifications:

First experience in operational logistics, warehousing and distribution or supply chain management

Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

Ability to document, plan and execute programs.

Rigor in processes and organized work management.

Respond efficiently and promptly to requests from our internal customers. Knowing how to manage stressful situations in the event of repeat requests and escalations from management

Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel/PPT and Apps).

Desired Characteristics:

Education/BA in logistics or supply chain management

Lean concept knowledge

Intercultural work ethic experience

French/Spanish/Polish language efficiency can be an added value (to support warehouse communication)
