What Logistics contributes to Cardinal Health

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Logistics plans, controls and implements processes for the storage and movement of finished goods and materials to drive operational efficiency in the organization's supply chain. This job family develops strategies for the use of internal Transportation capabilities versus third party logistics services. Logistics tracks all movement of product throughout each step in the supply chain, proactively identifies logistical risks, and addresses logistical issues to ensure on-time fulfillment of customer commitments.

Qualifications

4-8 years of experience, preferredBachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
