**POSITION TITLE** : Material Logistics Supervisor
**REPORTING TO:** Supply Chain Manager

**Scope of Role:** Manages and controls processes of material movement through the facility from receiving, storage, pulling, and shipping product to customers in a complete and accurate time frame. Will lead a highly engaged operation team to meet monthly sales projections, drive SQDC metrics, and execute continuous improvements for the defined area.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:**
+ Manages receipt of all raw material and outside processed parts.
+ Responsible for sound management of raw material and finished good inventory. Manages manpower to supply production areas with necessary parts to build product.
+ Responsible for the storage of material, both units and parts, to meet required inventory levels. Manage, coach, train, and direct employees toward achieving departmental objectives.
+ Manages all shipments to domestic and international customers, Gast Representatives and Distributors. Responsible for all bills of lading and freight bills, calling freight lines to schedule pick-ups, air shipments and the loading and unloading of international and domestic freight.
+ Enforces procedures and guidelines pertaining to the receipt of hazardous materials.
+ Responsible for continuous system improvement and implementation. Understanding of all present computer systems is required.
+ Responsible for developing, tracking, and enforcing productivity metrics for a logistics and kitting organization.
+ Must have strong ability to lead others, and enforce work rules in a fair and ethical manner.
+ Responsible maintaining and enforcing DOT Regulations for GAST Truck and Drivers.
+ Responsible for understanding, and maintaining documentation guidelines for international documents, Audit, and SOX.
+ Responsible for understanding, and maintaining the integrity and compliance for Domestic and International shipment regulations.
+ Responsible for Maintaining and addressing freight claims and damage both inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely resolution and closure with Quality and Freight carriers.
+ Responsible for Aftermarket staffing, adherence to controls, and efficiency.
**Measures of Performance:**
+ Deliver the monthly sales forecast while meeting/exceeding monthly SQDC objectives
+ Identify and execute productivity improvements in labor, freight, and packaging.
+ Identify and Lead at least 1 RIEs within the area(s) and support implementation.
+ Understand, Identify, and Improve documentation and processes for import and export to continue 100% compliance with international regulations.
+ Supervise team by delivering regular feedback and performance reviews and conducting disciplinary actions.
**PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS** :
Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment; thinks independently; shows initiative; anticipates and prevents problems; excellent analytical, scheduling and forecasting skills; demonstrated management knowledge and supervision training; excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS OR EQUIVALENCIES:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree OR Six (6) to eight (8) years of equivalent directly related work experience
+ Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience directly related to Inventory Management and Computer Systems
