Your ‘day to day’:  

 
The Logistics Strategy & Project Manager is primarily a consultancy role to Supply Chain Leadership team.  This person will review internal PMI practices, research external best practices and propose ways forward (co-develop practices, work-standards, ways of working, etc.) for business approval and adoption to evolve the organization. They will need to address our evolving business needs, ensuring a balance between strategic influence and execution. 

This role is responsible for proposing the improvement and implementation of best-in-class stakeholder collaboration strategies to SC Leadership team. This role is also responsible for leading the execution of strategic programs by working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, customer service, marketing, and supply chain operations, enhancing collaboration and driving mutual value creation. 

 

Stakeholder Collaboration: 

Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to understand their business needs, priorities, and challenges, and align our supply chain capabilities and solutions accordingly. 

Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement joint business plans, demand forecasting processes, and inventory management strategies that optimize supply chain efficiency and service levels while meeting stakeholder requirements. 

Serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader in stakeholder collaboration within the company and the industry, by proposing and actively contributing to the development of best practices, standards, and thought leadership content. 

Continuous improvements & monitoring: 

Lead regular assessments of Supply Chain processes to identify operational efficiency improvement opportunities. 

Manage the intake process and related governance for continuous improvement programs.  

Provide guidance and support to the Supply Chain teams for the deployment of the identified business improvements. 

 

Transformational projects: 

Lead internal business reviews to funnel internal customer needs into transformational projects tied to Supply Planning strategic priorities. 

Acts as project manager for transformational projects across Supply Planning delivering on time, on budget and to the highest standards to enable seamless operations with no disruption. 

Responsible for proposing working standards for the Logistics Customer Collaboration part of the Supply Chain (all product categories, channels and geographical locations) to Supply Chain Leadership team. 

Lead cross-functional teams to establish processes improvement, operational models, roles & responsibilities and performance requirements to drive top quality results for service, costs and cash. 

 

Supply Chain Digitization: 

Drive initiatives to digitize and automate supply chain processes, leveraging advanced technologies such as data analytics, IoT, and cloud-based platforms to enhance visibility and efficiency. 

Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to design and implement digital tools that support real-time tracking, predictive analytics, and decision-making across logistics and warehousing operations. 

Identify opportunities for process automation and integration of digital solutions to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and enable end-to-end supply chain transparency. 

Stay informed on emerging digital trends and best practices in supply chain management and propose innovative solutions to strengthen operational resilience and scalability. 

 

Who we’re looking for:  

 

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or a related field required. 

Minimum 5-8 years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or supply chain management within a manufacturing or FMCG environment. 

In-depth knowledge of warehouse management practices, carrier management, and all forms of material transportation (air freight, ocean freight, rail, etc.) 

Deep knowledge of modern inventory control, forecasting, and logistics practices. 

Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills with a focus on innovation and problem-solving. 

Demonstrated integrity and ability to manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships effectively. 

Experience in leading and delivering large-scale transformational projects and working standards.
