Job Title: Logistics Specialist
Job Description
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing customer vehicle relocation services orders and all supporting business operations. Key activities include customer order management and execution, involving communication through email and telephone with staff, independent contractors, and pickup and delivery contacts. The role requires maintaining accurate data in each order tracked in CRM.
Responsibilities
+ Manage execution of customer orders by coordinating and scheduling pickup and delivery of customer vehicles, ensuring customer instructions are precisely followed.
+ Efficiently execute orders through 'linking' of multiple orders and oversee the completion of additional services like vehicle detailing, titling/registration, and vehicle placement into storage.
+ Communicate promptly via email, telephone, and CRM with staff, independent contractors, and pickup and delivery contacts, escalating issues to management as necessary.
+ Update CRM activities and notes promptly, maintaining accurate data after each communication and uploading photos and scanned documents.
+ Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, adhering to applicable DOT regulations and Federal, State, and Local laws.
+ Calculate and offer flat fees on orders by emailing the bid sheet to independent contractors, especially in a manager's absence.
+ Manage storage facility operations, including daily vehicle inventory, using VIN and order verifications.
+ Check vehicles in and out of the storage facility, review for damage, note any issues, and take inventory of items left in vehicles.
+ Move vehicles within the lot, ensuring they are staged for pickup by drivers.
+ Account for all cars on the lot, ensuring vehicles are operational and communicating any issues to headquarters for addressing.
Essential Skills
+ High School Diploma.
+ Advanced computer skills and proficiency in CRM systems.
+ Six months of customer service experience, with inventory experience being a plus.
+ Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and data entry capabilities.
+ Ability to type at least 37 words per minute.
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in dispatch, inbound and outbound calls, call center operations, logistics, and scheduling coordination.
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment while multi-tasking.
+ Ability to manage several concurrent projects with high attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Enjoy being part of a cooperative and considerate team.
+ Possess professionalism, honesty, trustworthiness, respect, courtesy, patience, flexibility, cultural awareness, and a sound work ethic.
Work Environment
The role is on-site in Marysville, OH, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The work environment is fast-paced and involves communication with independent contractors, who are truck drivers, to assign orders and serve as their main point of contact.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
