You will be responsible for managing transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers. Positions requiring thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Liaising with internal product lines on equipment and service deliveries from country point of entry, to operating base, and to work site and the same for demobilizations.Liaising with OCTG supplier for delivery of OCTG to worksiteBeing ccountable for on time delivery of all goods and services to the worksite and managing cost associated with mobilizing same.Have complete oversight of all logistical deliveries to carry out the drilling and completion work.Liaising with rig contractor on rig related deliveries and rig moves.To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeHave at least 4 years of experience in LogisticsBeing a good communicatorBeing a team player with excellent interpersonal & leadership skills.Being able to work during public holidays, weekends and after office hours when operations require such hours to work.Have the ability to work independently, demonstrate the ability to problem solve and identify solutions.Being an effective problem identification and solution skills.Have proven analytical and organizational ability.Work in a way that works for you
