Job Description

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing customer vehicle relocation services orders and managing all supporting business operations. This role involves customer order management and execution, with communication through email and telephone with staff, independent contractors, and pickup and delivery contacts. Maintaining accurate data in each order tracked in the CRM is a crucial part of this position.

ResponsibilitiesManage the execution of customer orders, ensuring timely coordination and scheduling of pickup and delivery of customer vehicles while precisely following customer instructions.Efficiently execute orders by linking multiple orders together.Oversee accurate and timely completion of additional services including vehicle detailing, titling/registration, and vehicle placement into storage.Communicate promptly by email, telephone, and CRM with staff, independent contractors, and pickup and delivery contacts, escalating issues to management as appropriate.Update CRM activities and notes promptly, maintaining accurate data after each telephone call and email communication, including uploading photos and scanned documents.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and adherence to applicable DOT regulations and Federal, State, and Local laws.In the manager's absence or through their direction, calculate and offer flat fees on orders by emailing the bid sheet to all independent contractors.Manage the storage facility daily, where applicable, including managing vehicle numbers in and out of the storage facility to customers, detail shops, and repair shops using VIN and order verifications.Check vehicles in, reviewing them for damage and issues, taking inventory of any items left in the vehicle, moving vehicles in and out of the lot, and ensuring vehicles are starting and communicating issues to headquarters for resolution.Essential SkillsAbility to learn and utilize all company systems and equipment, including any updates or upgrades.Provide outstanding customer service and keep customers informed of developments.Monitor and manage team dashboard to complete tasks and keep orders moving.Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively and follow through to completion.Respond and act confidently, assertively, and decisively while taking responsibility and accountability for position requirements.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma.Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment while multi-tasking, being detail-oriented, and sensitive to communicating accurate information both verbally and in writing.Manage several concurrent projects with high attention to detail and accuracy.Advanced computer skills and strong Microsoft Office Excel, data entry, and CRM experience are preferred.Strong communication skills, including written and verbal, with experience in data entry, spreadsheets, call center, logistics, and scheduling coordination.At least 6 months of customer service experience; inventory experience is a plus.Typing skills with a minimum speed of 37 WPM.Work Environment

This position is on-site, located at 10225 General Drive, Orlando, FL. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role offers the opportunity to work for one of the fastest-growing fleet transport companies and includes opportunities for growth within the organization, which has 11 different departments. It is a women-owned company, and candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with independent contractors, such as truck drivers, to assign orders and serve as their main point of contact.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gainesville, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
