Job Title: Logistics Specialist (Cross Border Execution)
Job Description

Join the Global Mile team within the Cross Border Execution division, supporting all imports of goods and freight coming into the US. In this role, you will manage various processes, including processing repair claims, escalating containers on customs holds, and creating reports for other teams. Communication with carriers occurs through the auditing platform, requiring minimal phone support. Excel proficiency is crucial for success in this role, as it involves extensive use of SUM, average formulas, pivot tables, and V-lookups.

ResponsibilitiesProcess repair claims and escalate containers on customs holds.Create and communicate reports to other teams.Utilize different systems to audit Accessorial Claims with precision and efficiency.Communicate with carriers through the auditing platform.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups.Strong stakeholder management skills.Ability to leverage multiple data sources for informed decision-making.Experience in logistics operations and communication with carriers.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in logistics operations, claims, or auditing.Attention to detail and ability to deliver results.Familiarity with automation and AI is a plus.Understanding of logistics and transportation concepts.Work Environment

The team currently works in person from Tuesday to Friday, with Monday being a remote workday. This schedule is subject to change.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
