Reporting to the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for Facilitating the safe, timely, and efficient execution of copper concentrate dispatch activities on site, including preparations, truck capturing, loading, weighing, and dispatching of haulage trucks on a shift basis.

Your Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

Manage copper concentrate loading activities, including daily truck requirement planning, capturing, and monitoring.

Create, verify, and sign off delivery notes.

Oversee concentrate truck dispatch quality management.

Conduct random checks on batch sample preparation and ensure weighbridge operators comply with procedures.

Prepare and distribute accurate sample lists to laboratory personnel for analysis and reconciliation.

Ensure truck weights comply with GVM and statutory limits for Zambian roads to avoid overload penalties.

Guarantee timely loading and dispatch of haulage trucks, achieving planned turnaround times within the process plant.

Update the CCLS loading system with any late changes to haulage truck details initiated by the haulage company.

File Proof of Deliveries (PODs) for copper concentrate deliveries in chronological order.

Perform delivery reconciliation of weights, moisture, and assay results for payable metals using lab and smelter reports; update month-to-date reports and conduct weekly reconciliations with process plant Metallurgist.

Plan and prepare concentrate numbers, ensuring numbering sequence compliance with contractual requirements.

To be considered for this position, the applicant must have the following:

Full Grade 12 School Certificate.

Minimum Diploma in Transport and logistics or related fields

Minimum 2 years’ operational/logistics or accounting experience, preferably in a mine or major industrial site with exposure to local and international bulk transport and shipping activities. 

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Holder of a valid Zambia driving license.
