Role Purpose Statement
The job incumbent will be responsible for managing and granting the right processes of different warehouses according to Ecolab policies.
Accountabilities
Warehousing & Transportation management
To be the liaison with our 3PLs granting operational procedures. The different 3PL’s are integrated at different levels according to the operational needs.
To do the close follow-up of Inbound & Outbound processes providing solutions to any operational issue
To be responsible of managing & solving stock discrepancies
To be responsible of customer delivery performance (and customer returns)
To be responsible of managing & solving transportation issues
To be responsible of reporting any safety issue according Ecolab policies
This person will have a continuous improvement mindset and will make sure we implement the same mindset at the 3PL
SAP Master data management
To be accountant of the material creation at warehouse level
To be accountant of maintaining customer information
To be responsible of creating some operational events on SAP
Skills and Experience
Logistics or planning background preferred
Microsoft office experience (Specifically Microsoft Excel)
Solid experience using SAP to be proved
English: Negotiation level required
Technical or Economics degree (supply chain complementary certifications or studies will be strongly valuated).
About the selected person
The employee will be part of a team with a strong operational mindset. The selected candidate should work perfectly coordinated with the rest of the team.
The selected person should be an open-minded person being able to work on complex environments with pressure.
The matching profile should be a person able to take the right decisions because direct / constant supervision is not expected.
The selected person will have to be several days per week on our central warehouse located in Barcelona province.
