Job Summary:

Job Summary:
The Logistics Specialist is a key member of a global logistics team responsible for managing end-to-end processes to ensure products are delivered to the right place, at the right time, and at the lowest possible cost—while meeting service policy commitments. The role may span across four core functional areas:

Shipment Management

Freight Audit, Allocation, Claims & Payment

OLIVER System Help Desk


Responsibilities:

Shipment Management:

Leverage OLIVER bulk planning functionality to analyze demand and flow recommendations, executing shipment tendering and carrier selection that aligns with customer service expectations while optimizing cost efficiency.

Coordinate shipment execution by collaborating with external supply chain partners, including suppliers, carriers, and third-party consolidators, to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Monitor and enforce performance standards for supply chain partners, ensuring accountability for daily operational objectives.

Resolve shipment-related issues in partnership with internal stakeholders to meet inventory and demand requirements.

Enhance transit performance by proactively identifying freight delays and implementing timely corrective actions.

Reporting, Analytics & Models:

Present and interpret client and supply chain partner dashboards and scorecards, with a clear understanding of the service levels required to achieve key performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Maintain and validate OLIVER master data tables, including partner profiles, rate structures, equipment specifications, warehouse scheduling constraints, and location data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Monitor and update shipment estimated times of arrival (ETAs) to final destinations, providing clients with timely and reliable information.

Develop and manage analytical models and decision-support tools to guide client flow and spend management strategies, including estimated landing cost factors, air freight estimation tools, manufacturer routing guides, and transit timetables.

Freight Audit, Allocation & Payment:

Receive and audit invoices from supply chain partners for services such as duty, freight, customs brokerage, and consolidation, ensuring accurate allocation of fees to respective clients.

Respond to partner inquiries regarding account statements and payment status, maintaining clear and timely communication.

Address client escalations related to post-delivery shipment issues, ensuring resolution aligns with service expectations.

Manage disposition instructions and oversee the execution of claims filing and collections with supply chain partners, ensuring timely and accurate recovery.

OLIVER System Help Desk:

Facilitate user onboarding and training for the OLIVER system, ensuring effective adoption and utilization.

Provide support through the system help desk, resolving user-submitted trouble tickets in collaboration with the call center team.

Develop and maintain comprehensive user training manuals and documentation to support ongoing education and system proficiency.


Basic Qualifications:

3 years’ experience in a logistics/finance-related position

Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Working ERP knowledge – e.g., DBS, SAP, Island Pacific, ORACLE

Working TMS knowledge – e.g., ORACLE OTM, Red Prairie, etc.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or finance.
