Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our North American Planning Team in Greensboro, NC or St. Paul, MN. Ecolab’s North America Planning Team is responsible for the demand planning, supply network planning, and distribution requirements/planning activities that take place within North America. The team continuously strives to work safely while maintaining excellent customer service metrics, optimizing the supply chain, managing inventory levels and risk, building strong relationships with other functions, among many other “day in the life” activities. This position will allow the associate to be trained to support multiple administrative and supply chain roles and move between those functions as needed for coverage and workload balancing purposes.

Gain a deep understanding of Ecolab’s supply chain
Order management, critical customers, and business prioritization
What You Will Do:
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office especially Excel (pivot tables, charts, formula lookups, etc.)
Performs queries into SAP in order to extract information
Management of critical customer accounts
Collaboration with planning and business teams to ensure service metrics are met daily
Compiles basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials or prepares charts, graphs, and tables as necessary in Excel
Process orders, quote requests, and other vendor and customer inquiries promptly and accurately
Reporting of service failures to business leaders
Shipping in full failure reporting
Expedites, Drop Ships for all Kay Businesses and required reporting
Manage as part of a team all incoming and outgoing correspondence with business teams
Utilize transportation management system for order tracking
Manage work time to achieve department service level goals
Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to meet team needs
Handle special projects as needed
Understand guidelines for requesting time off, including holidays
Support business leaders and increased order volumes through quarter end promotions

Location: Greensboro, NC or St. Paul, MN
Work Week & Shift: M-F / 8a-5p EST
Compensation package offered: $25.00 / hour
Minimum Qualifications:
High School degree of equivalent
Experience using Excel and other Microsoft Office programs (PowerBi)
Experience using SAP, or alternative ERP system

Physical Demands:
Must be able to pass a drug screen
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree or advanced degree in related field
Previous customer service background
Professional experience training others and providing feedback
Supply chain experience
Ability to influence and motivate others
Experience in resolving difficult situations effectively
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with Ecolab finished goods and raw ingredients
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $25.00 / hour. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
