Temp-to-Hire position$17.00 /hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00pm to 08:30pm)Enter and maintain load information in Freight Optimizer; validate data for accounting.Monitor pickups and deliveries; communicate updates to drivers, account managers, and customers. Schedule, reschedule, and provide routing instructions for all shipments.Investigate and document product overages, shortages, or damages.Professionally resolve customer questions, issues, and complaints.Logistics Specialist Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or supply chain training a plus.Previous experience in logistics, shipping, or freight coordination preferred.Strong communication skills for interacting with drivers, account managers, and customers.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple shipments and track data accurately.Ability to use Freight Optimizer or similar logistics software; basic computer proficiency required.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
