Job Description
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials. This includes overseeing transportation, inventory, warehousing, and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer and operational requirements.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations including transportation, shipping, and receiving.Manage and track inventory levels to ensure product availability and accuracy.Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.Optimize logistics processes and recommend improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies, including customs and import/export regulations.Handle customer service issues related to delivery and logistics.Prepare and analyze reports related to logistics performance, cost analysis, and KPIs.Other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsLogistics and supply chain expertise.Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems.Strong knowledge of logistics software such as WMS and TMS.Analytical mindset with attention to detail.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.Fast learner and adaptable.Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field preferred.2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related operations role.Work Environment
The work environment requires the ability to lift 25 pounds. The role involves coordinating and managing logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
