Objective:
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing customer vehicle relocation services orders and all supporting business operations. This role involves managing customer order execution and communication through email and telephone with staff, independent contractors, and pickup and delivery contacts, ensuring accurate data maintenance in CRM systems.
Responsibilities:Manage execution of customer orders by coordinating and scheduling pickup and delivery of customer vehicles, ensuring customer instructions are precisely followed.Efficiently execute orders by linking multiple orders and overseeing additional services such as vehicle detailing, titling/registration, and vehicle placement into storage.Communicate promptly by email, telephone, and CRM with staff, independent contractors, and pickup and delivery contacts, escalating issues to management as necessary.Update CRM activities and notes promptly, maintaining accurate data after each communication, including uploading photos and scanned documents.Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and adherence to applicable DOT regulations and Federal, State, and Local laws.In the manager's absence or through direction, calculate and offer flat fees on orders by emailing the bid sheet to all independent contractors.Manage storage facility operations, including vehicle inventory and verification using VIN and order checks.Check vehicles in and out, noting any damage and issues, inventory items left in vehicles, and move vehicles in and out of the lot.Account for all cars on the lot, ensuring vehicles are operational and communicating issues to headquarters for resolution before reactivation.Essential SkillsAbility to learn and utilize all systems and equipment, including updates and upgradesProvide outstanding customer service and keep customers informed of developmentsMonitor and manage team dashboard, completing tasks to keep orders progressingManage time effectively and follow through to completionRespond confidently, assertively, and decisively, taking responsibility and accountability for position requirementsAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma - requiredValid Driver's License - required6 months of customer service experience; inventory experience is a plusStrong Microsoft Office Excel, data entry, and CRM experienceTyping proficiency with a minimum score of 37 WPMStrong written and verbal communication skills, data entry, spreadsheets, call center, logistics, scheduling, and coordinating experienceComfortable working in a fast-paced office environment while multitasking and being detail-orientedAbility to manage several concurrent projects with high attention to detail and accuracyAdvanced computer skills and professionalismWork Environment
This position is a fully onsite position functioning Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The environment is fast-paced requiring comfort in communicating with independent contractors (truck drivers) to assign orders and serve as their main point of contact.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
