Job Description:

Arrow Electronics is seeking a collaborative and engaged Logistics Services Associate Manager to join our newly constructed Warehouse Logistics center in Hungary. This role will participate, coordinate and collaborate with MSFT and the Arrow MSFT team. As a Logistics Services Associate Manager, you will be required to excel in the areas of safety, quality, attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

What You’ll Be Doing:

Responsible for day-to-day functions of production department, ensuring goals are met or exceededSupervise day-to-day operation of a department within the distribution center consisting of non-exempt tactical personnelDirectly supervise a team of 25 people on averageWith specific directions from management and HR, participate in staffing, terminations, disciplinary counseling, performance management and development, in conjunction with facility managementReport and track department metrics, responding to internal customer inquiries. May need to elevate or work in conjunction with facility management to resolve complex issuesSet priorities for the team to ensure task completionReceive guidance and oversight from managerTypically, do not spend more than 20% of time performing the work supervisedAccountable for the results of small-sized routine support or production operations teamsSolve problems based on set policies and proceduresTrain team members and provide input to employee performance evaluationsParticipate, coordinate, and collaborate with MSFT and the Arrow MSFT Account teamWork with Arrow IT addressing WMS system limitations and concerns, acting as a program manager as business program growsOther duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

5+ years of supervisory and logistics experienceBachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain or Technical degree preferred)Demonstrated experience supervising large teams in a warehouse environmentStrong people management, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to manage people and processes effectivelyTolerance for the physical demands of a warehouse environment (standing, lifting, bending, kneeling for extended periods in a climate-controlled setting)Proficient knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Oracle-based ERP experience; Unity experience a plusProficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English and HungarianAbility to collaborate with all levels of staff and management and mentor direct reportsKnowledge of Six Sigma/Lean concepts, including 5SAbility to interpret and use statistics in day-to-day decision makingExperience evaluating processes to optimize product handling, product flow, and layoutsProject-oriented with the ability to follow through on long-term goalsAbility to multitask effectivelyCustomer-oriented mindset
