About the Site

The Lear Corporation site in Pozzo d’Adda (near Milan) is part of Lear’s European manufacturing and logistics network and supports automotive customers in the premium and luxury vehicle segment. The plant operates in a fast-paced, just-in-time (JIT) environment and is involved in the production and supply of seating systems for high-end automotive programs.

Position Purpose

The Logistics Planner is responsible for ensuring material availability in line with customer demand by planning, coordinating and monitoring production and supply chain activities. The role contributes to on-time delivery performance, inventory optimization and continuous improvement of logistics and planning processes within the plant and across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage short-, mid- and long-term production and material plans in line with customer demand and plant capacity.
• Translate customer forecasts and orders into feasible production and procurement plans.
• Monitor plan adherence and manage deviations with corrective actions.
• Manage MRP and communicate net requirements to suppliers.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehousing and Logistics teams.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and support escalation in case of shortages.
• Control inventory levels, safety stocks and stock accuracy.
• Track logistics and planning KPIs (OTD, service level, inventory KPIs).
• Coordinate with 3PL providers and monitor service level performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, process optimization).
• Ensure data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems and compliance with internal procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or similar.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics planning / production planning in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
• Good knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
• Understanding of supply chain, inventory management and planning processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, JIT environment.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English; Italian is a strong advantage.
