Manages the movement of people, materials, equipment by land, marine, and air. Develops both operational and commercial movement support strategies balancing reliability, supply assurance, and commercial stewardship. Maintains continued connections with internal customers for movement demand planning while ensuring external suppliers support scheduling and movement execution. Manages and/or operates shorebases, camps, heliports, airports, and associated logistic technologies.
Performs routine tasks independently. General supervision of non-routine work. Has basic knowledge of Chevron policies and practices
+ Maintain supply chain/logistics process for product inventory maintenance, shipment and delivery
+ Comprehend the principles of inventory management, inbound and outbound quantity management
+ Maintain the system operation etc. JDE daily process in China, include stock and non-stock orders
+ Provide operational management on the delivery schedule and guidance to ensure maximum productivity
+ Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations for managing of the supply chain process
+ Support with all aspects of operational audits e.g. ISCC annual audits, Deloitte/PwC audits etc
+ Work closely with procurement teams to make sure project delivery timely and provide support early to develop business execution strategies.
+ Comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or export agreements, keep tracks of contract management and administration documents
+ Analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks/issues to ensure key stakeholders’ deliverables are met.
+ Proactively engages stakeholders in approving new material suppliers, implement the supplier qualification processes and maintains the Approved Vendor List.
+ Collaborate with other internal departments to resolve issues and close operational gaps.
+ Handle daily communications with external suppliers
+ Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or in logistic & supply chain related field preferred
+ 1 year of work experience, experience in bio-fuel related industry preferred
+ Ability to manage all aspects of the supply chain
+ Comprehend basics of accounting
+ Being able to comprehend legal documents/export agreements
+ Strong communication skills and organizational ability
+ Fluency in writing & speaking English language
