Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.

OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified and reliable Logistics Officer who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the supply chain and transportation of concentrates (such as minerals or other raw materials) from the Didipio Minesite/processing  plant to Poro Point. This includes overseeing  and providing assistance to the company and or Contractor HT Drivers in the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of concentrates. The role will report to the Supervisor-Process Operations.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

The ability to plan, implement, and oversee the efficient movement and storage of goods, services, or information to meet business and customer requirements;The ability to accurately, clearly, and systematically record, organize, and communicate information related to tasks, processes, incidents, and outcomes in adherence to regulatory, organizational, and industry standards to ensure compliance, transparency, and accountability;The ability to effectively coordinate and align with internal teams and external partners to ensure the seamless movement, handling, and delivery of concentrates while meeting business objectives and maintaining strong relationships; andThe ability to effectively utilize and manage CCTV and GPS tracking systems to ensure the security, efficiency, and real-time monitoring of logistics operations,  focusing on enhancing accountability, optimizing routes, and protecting assets.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

College graduate in commerce/engineering or any similar courses.

Work Experience and Background:

Minimum of 3 years experience relevant to the roleWarehouse   and Shipping   experience   is an advantage

Specialization/License:

Professional   Driver's   License

Desired Qualifications:

Positive  and  possess  a "can  do" attitudeWilling  to be assigned   at Poro,  San  Fernando, La Union, and/or Didipio  Mine  Site

Knowledge:

Knowledge   in haul truck  planning  and  schedulingKnowledge   in warehouse   and transport   and  basic  principles   of supply  chain

Skills:

Planning   and  Scheduling Effective   Communication   Computer   Literacy   and  System proficiency (ex.  Pronto)

Abilities:

Ability  to work  unsupervisedAbility  to perform  under  pressureWillingness   to cover  the  role of supervisor   and  peers  when on break  or on leaveAbility  to operate  other  company   vehicles, such  as light  vehicles, when  called  to perform  company   duties  and other  duties
