**Job Description :** **Purpose of the Role:** This role is directly responsible for the end-to-end Transport & Warehouse operations of Colombia market. This role is responsible for service, control, performance management, strategy delivery and codification of the Colombia logistics operations. It is also responsible to influence other areas across the supply chain of Colombia (including third party operators) as the logistics operations are the end of the chain and face our customers. The role will cover the taxonomies of transport, warehousing, excellence delivery, logistics suppliers’ contracts and performance management. The outcomes of this role are mainly measured in service to our customers, cost efficiency, health & safety, collaboration, and value crafting relationships. It is responsible for delivering all Transport & Warehouse critical metrics to delivering growth targets for Colombia. This role is responsible for logistics operations that will deliver during F26 1.3m EU’s _,_ representing +$200m of NSV for Diageo. Annual logistics spend is +$6M. It leads all aspects of Diageo owned warehouses and 3rd party warehouses. This role requires strong leadership and influence of end-to-end logistics operations, including third-party logistics partners and transport companies. This role will lead a team of +12 FTEs, in addition to 3PL teams and transport suppliers. **Key Accountabilities:** + Run Transport & Warehouse operations for Colombia market + Costings within budget and service provided to be within the planned financials + Lead and empower the logistics team to deliver Colombia’s growth targets, and build a future talent pipeline for business continuity + Lead Transport & Warehousing initiatives in partnership with other areas and external partners and create cost to serve improvement initiatives for Colombia + Understanding Colombia´s dynamics to ensure credibility of Planning & Logistics and deliver continuous improvement year on year + Strong influence on key collaborators (Colombia’s Directors, LAC P&L Director and Commercial leadership team) to get key logistics initiatives implemented and delivered + Strong connection with other supply chain functions to ensure delivery of overall supply excellence + Lead and influence transport companies and third party logistics providers across Colombia **Market Complexity:** + Colombia has a sophisticated Logistics footprint with 21 different warehouses + The logistics processes are highly manual and often subject to repeated manual correction – orders are touched multiple times + Ground-breaking initiatives must be enabled by this role + Technology use is low. + Business continuity is a critical priority for this role + Security is an important consideration in Colombia + Compliance is an important consideration in Colombia **Requirements – Capabilities, Skills & Experience:** + Minimum 10 years of overall supply chain experience preferably in more than 1 pillar like Logistics, Manufacturing, Planning, Source + Minimum 5 years’ experience leading Warehousing and Transport operations in FMCG/Retail/manufacturing companies + Confirmed experience handling 3PL operations + Strong leadership of large teams with sophisticated collaborator matrix + Proven ability to engage and align senior collaborators behind plans and win support for implementing change within the organisation + Confirmed experience leading and delivering Continuous Improvement, Cost Reduction and Health & Safety programs + Ability to optimize cost in transport & warehouse operations + Ability to lead in environments where influence is more important than formal authority + Demonstrable knowledge of end to end supply chain and Customer collaboration + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written combined with the ability to engage effectively at all levels in the organisation **Excellence in Supply Chain:** _Upholds Standards_ – The role holder will be expected to produce and embrace logistics standards, apply them effectively in their role and adhere to them at all times.
