Logistics Intern

Ecolab has an opening for a Freight Payment and Audit intern within our transportation department at our offices in GBS+ BA.  Under the direction of logistics leadership, and with accuracy, efficiency, and Ecolab’s best interest a priority, the intern is accountable for supporting transportation execution activities. This role is accountable for supporting processes relating to freight pay and audit throughout North America.  This position will act as a support of the operation for freight pay & audit and will interact directly with the members of our teams and area.

Main Responsibilities

Support freight pay and audit for various modes of transportation throughout NA.Establishes effective internal and external communications.Support the freight pay and audit team to manage aging reports to resolve open invoices.Support ongoing projects in the transportation area.Rotation within other logistics teams in BA.Develop role-specific soft skills.

Basic Qualifications

Having completed a 50% bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Data Analytics or related field.Intermediate Microsoft office package skills.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.No immigration sponsorship available for this position

Preferred Qualifications

Previous work experience in logistics, transportation or operations.Ability to work well in ambiguous situations.Strong analytical skills.Ability to exercise independent judgment and to work in teams.Prior experience using SAP and TMS applications.
