We’re now seeking a Logistics Functional Expert to act as a project manager, supporting the Logistics Lead in delivering the Logistics Acceleration Workstream within Project Horizon. You’ll be at the forefront of redesigning how we manage warehousing, transport, and logistics—from strategy to execution.
What you’ll do:
Project Management & Governance
Support feasibility studies across end-to-end supply chain, warehousing and transport
Ensure process, people and tech design are fit-for-purpose
Track project milestones and report on progress and budget status
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (Supply, Commercial, Digital Technology, S&F, consultants, 3PLs)
Manage project financials, scope, risks, risk mitigation, and quality standards
Change Management
Lead future-state process design and conduct gap/impact analysis
Design and execute a robust change management program
Drive stakeholder alignment and training programs to ensure successful adoption
Enable smooth transitions from deployment to business-as-usual
Operational Excellence
Establish strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
Deliver on cost, service and quality targets through collaboration and accountability
Provide analytical and functional logistics support to the broader Horizon team
Ensure vendor deliverables meet contract and performance expectations
What we’re looking for:
Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering, IT or Finance
Experience in logistics/supply chain operations
Proven project management experience in large, complex or cross-segment projects
Strong process knowledge across warehousing, transport and/or international logistics
Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills
Digital mindset – strong systems capability and learning agility
SAP functional knowledge – ideally Atlas/SAP ECC6 or S/4HANA
