Logistics Coordinator - MEX

PURPOSE

 

The Logistics Coordinator will have strong problem-solving capabilities skills, ensuring all freight is delivered/picked-up on time with a focus on sustaining steady and first-class service to GlobalTranz’s client network. Given this role supports many teams including Customer Success, Enterprise Growth, Carrier Sales, Direct Sales, and Customer Sales, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that GlobalTranz’s customers receive timely service information from pickup to delivery by working with our network of carriers.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver multi-level operational support for GlobalTranz’s client shipments and transportation through tracking and tracing activity (inbound/outbound phone calls, texts and e-mails), ensuring on-time delivery and pick-up. Clarify load requirements with carriers, confirming drivers have proper information (pick up & delivery requirements) Constant and clear communications with stakeholders all GlobalTranz’s load. Utilize and update tracking methods using GlobalTranz’s load management system. Maximize the productivity and workflow of the department by emphasizing load board priorities, efficiencies, and board coverage.  Provide support to the OS&D department by gathering detailed information from carriers, customers, and internal representatives to quickly resolve shipment issues. Handle client problems following GlobalTranz’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and escalate to proper business function as needed, maintaining customer satisfaction, and supplying high quality service and work ethic while representing GlobalTranz. Serve as back-up support as needed to other department team members to ensure complete client satisfaction according to GlobalTranz standards.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Experience working with telephony technologies. Superior communication skills Basic computer and typing skills. Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills Ability to work in a team environment while delivering independent results. Work with a sense of urgency Punctuality and good attendance Attention to detail. Positive attitude

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

High school diploma or a GED required. Experience in administrative support role preferred. Experience in customer services role preferred. In lieu of degree, combination of education and years of experience will be considered.
