Logistics Coordinator
Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Job Description Join our team as a Logistics Coordinator, where you will represent the Global Logistics team in a customer-facing role, providing essential logistic support. You will effectively communicate across various departments including Sales, Operations, and Sourcing to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities + Provide tracking updates for critical inbound and outbound shipments. + Source carrier quotes and arrange expedited shipments as needed. + Support operations with equipment requests and demand planning. + Manage carrier schedules for inbound deliveries and Milk Runs. + Enter claims and follow up on 'over/short and damaged' shipments. + Perform additional reporting or data entry tasks as requested. Essential Skills + 2+ years of experience in logistics or a related field. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. + Excellent customer service and communication skills. + Strong skills in logistics, data entry, supply chain management, and order entry. + Effective time management abilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma required. + Experience with shipping and receiving, inventory management, and quoting. Work Environment The position is a 6-month contract with potential for extension or permanent placement. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Initially, you will need to be on-site for the first 1-2 weeks of training. After training, you can enjoy a hybrid work schedule, working from home on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and being in the office on Tuesday and Thursday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
