Our client, a leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient delivery processes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Logistics Coordinator
**Location:** Michigan City, IN
**Pay Range: $25.00/hour**
**Shift:** 1st shift with availability for flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage and schedule inbound delivery appointments with transportation carriers.
+ Coordinate with onsite contractors and security personnel to ensure timely and secure deliveries to the correct areas of the property.
+ Monitor and track incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
+ Communicate effectively with internal departments to align delivery schedules with operational needs.
+ Maintain accurate records of inbound deliveries and resolve discrepancies as needed.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
+ 2+ years of experience in receiving, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
