Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Branford, Connecticut. In this role, you will manage various aspects of supply chain operations, ensuring seamless product coordination from purchase to delivery. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a solid understanding of logistics processes.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and process purchase orders while monitoring factory and overseas product shipments.
• Track and manage product development timelines from initiation to delivery, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Use spreadsheets and ERP systems to maintain accurate records of product purchases and inventory.
• Review, evaluate, and follow up on product samples to ensure they meet specifications.
• Communicate effectively with clients and vendors to address shipping and delivery concerns.
• Oversee quality control processes to guarantee product compliance with established standards.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve logistical challenges and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain and update fixed asset inventories to ensure accurate reporting.
• Provide support in creating and managing product detail pages for internal and external use.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Proficiency in ERP solutions and business systems for managing inventory and operations.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for tracking and analyzing data.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities to manage client and vendor relationships.
• Experience in processing purchase orders and handling detailed product documentation.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and fixed asset inventory management is a plus. TalentMatch®
